2021 is finally here, and with it, some super virtual library events. If you're unfamiliar with our programs, know that you don't have to live in Anne Arundel County, Maryland to enjoy them. (Although we watch our films on Kanopy, you're free to watch them wherever you can find them. Sorry, if you don't live in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, I can't hook you up with Kanopy.) We've had participants from 26 states, Canada, and Europe, so please consider joining us. On Friday, January 8, 2021 at 7pm EST, we'll discuss Werner Herzog's Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972). Registration for this discussion starts on December 25, 2020
And please join us for a very special event on Friday, January 15, 2021, a discussion of the Michael Curtiz film The Proud Rebel (1958) with special guest Alan K. Rode, author of Michael Curtiz: A Life. Since this will be a Zoom webinar, the attendance is practically unlimited, so there's no excuse to miss out on this one! Registration begins on January 1, 2021
On Friday, February 5, 2021, at 7pm EST, a discussion of  Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et la Bête, 1946). Registration begins on January 22
On Friday, February 19 at 7pm EST, a discussion of Thunder Road (2018). Registration begins on February 5
