Tonight at the library I'm showing the 1946 version of The Killers, but if you're not able to join us, may I recommend another movie from that same year, Somewhere in the Night. You can read my previous review from Noirvember 2015, but more importantly, realize that you may not be able to see this film for much longer. Somewhere in the Night is a 20th Century Fox title, which means that - thanks to Disney's recent acquisition of the Fox library - this film and many other Fox titles may soon be found only in Disney's vault. But you can still find the film on DVD and on YouTube, so act fast. Enjoy!
